 \, Shirl Conway Larson. She wrote\, directed\, and
  produced many early plays. In the beginning the c
 lub produced many Vaudeville shows drawing from th
 e island residents’ talent.</p>\n \n <p>Over time 
 the club has gone through various phases depending
  on the talents of those involved. During the 1990
 ’s we produced massive musicals under the directio
 n of Gene Nelson. In the years since\, the club ha
 s grown from an island centric club to now include
  many members from the wider community.</p>\n \n <
 p>The Harstine Island Theatre Club is a friendly\,
  welcoming place for those who wish to explore\, l
 earn\, express their creative skills\, and put on 
 productions. We welcome diversity. </p>\n \n <p>We
  meet at 6:30 pm\, on the last Monday of every mon
 th at the Harstine Island Community Hall. We look
