Harstin e Island Theatre Club was established in 1984 by t he late professional actress\, and island resident \, Shirl Conway Larson. She wrote\, directed\, and produced many early plays. In the beginning the c lub produced many Vaudeville shows drawing \;f rom the island residents&rsquo\; talent.
\n \nOver time the club has gone through various pha ses depending on the talents of those involved. Du ring the \;1990&rsquo\;s we produced massive&n bsp\;musicals under the direction of Gene Nelson. In the years since\, the club has grown from an is land centric club to now include many members from the wider community.
\n \nThe Harstine Isl and Theatre Club is a friendly\, welcoming place f or those who wish to explore\, learn\, express the ir creative skills\, and put on productions. We we lcome diversity. \;
