The HICC Kids Education Program (HKEP) is a community-led enrichment series created to give Pioneer School District students meaningful, real-world learning beyond school. Open to ages 7–13, Session Two (Fall 2025) offers two tracks - Mondays (October 27, November 3, 10, 17, 24, December 1, & 8) and Thursdays (October 30, November 6, 13, 20, Tuesday 11/25, December 4 & 11) - each running 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Harstine Island Community Hall. Classes are limited to 15 students and priced at $15 per track.
Monday Track:
• 3–4 p.m. Cash Counting & Kid's Accounting Skills
• 4–5 p.m. Creative Writing - Poetry & Penmanship
• 5–6 p.m. Tinker CAD 3-D Printing
Thursday Track:
• 3–4 p.m. Spanish 101B
• 4–5 p.m. STEM Science
• 5–6 p.m. Art – Sculpting Clay & Paper Mache
