Spring Play — Rose & Walsh a Play by Neil Simon

Harstine Island Theatre Club presents their Spring production Rose and Walsh by Neil Simon. It is the last play written by Simon and follows two great literary figures and the depth and consequence of their enduring love. Rose, a celebrated but near penniless author, receives nightly visits from Walsh, the love of her life and a famous writer himself. Now Walsh must go away forever, but not before securing Rose’s financial future with an extraordinary proposal that promises to change everything. The cast includes: PJ Hopkins as Rose, PJ has been involved with HITC for awhile and directed last Summer’s play “You Have the Right to Remain Dead”. Ken Latimer plays Walsh. Ken is a frequent actor for HITC and was last seen as Titus in “The Curious Savage”. Arlene, Rose’s assistant, is being played by Diane Weed who made her HITC debut in “You Have the Right to Remain Dead”. The cast is completed with Trevor Clark as Gavin, who is hired to finish a project for Rose and Walsh. Trevor is making his HITC debut, in fact, it is his first time on any stage.
