Kids Carnival Volunteer Sign-Up

The Kids Carnival is one of the most beloved days on Harstine Island — a laughter-filled afternoon of carnival games, prizes, treats, and a magician at 11 AM, offered free as the Women's Club's annual gift to island families. And it only happens because neighbors pitch in to make it run.

We're looking for a few friendly hands on Saturday, August 8. Whether you can give an hour or the whole afternoon, there's a spot for you:

• Setup — get the games, tables, and decorations ready before the doors open
• Game operators — run a booth and cheer on the kids (two shifts, so you can still enjoy the day yourself)
• Food servers — keep the hot dogs, popcorn, and treats coming
• Face painting and performing — bring a little extra magic, if that's your thing
• Breakdown — help us pack up and reset the hall at the end

No experience needed — just a willingness to have fun and help island kids have a great day. Pick the roles and shifts that work for you below, and a volunteer coordinator will follow up before the event with details and where to be.
