Join us for an exciting Kids' STEM Science Class designed for young scientists ages 7 to 12! This 10-week program, held on Thursdays from 4 PM to 6 PM from April 10th to June 12th, will be led by an Island resident who is a retired high school science teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds. The kids will dive into process-based learning, problem-solving, and science-based inquiry, engaging in collaborative learning and hands-on investigations to develop critical thinking skills and teamwork. The program will conclude with an exciting Science Fair presentation on June 13th from 6:00PM-8:00PM, where group teams will showcase their session discoveries! The cost is $15 per child, and space is limited to 15 children, so sign up early to secure your spot!
